Dear Friends:
Greetings from Guatemala. These last 2 weeks have been very busy ones as we have been
taking the students out to do Street Evangelism and getting ready for a team to arrive. 2
weeks ago the Guatemalan Missionary Training Center (GMTC) hit the streets throughout
the city and Antigua to do personal evangelism. They spent about 6 hours each day doing
personal evangelism and we saw 21 people come to Christ. PTL!
At the Kenyan MTC I have received the report from Sister Cherianne that they as well were
out doing their Personal Evangelism Outreach. Because of the recent political unrest this
has given us a great opportunity to minister. They spent a day feeding and ministering to
displaced people and saw 7 come to Christ that day. Another day they went to a slum area
of Nairobi and saw another 23 come to the Lord.
They visited another day the 2nd largest slum area in the world and saw another 30 come
to Christ and then they ministered in downtown Nairobi in Uhuru park and saw the Lord
move in 21 more lives. PTL!!!
In all of these cases the new converts have been directed to a church and a pastor where
they will be discipled and become part of the local church.
I also visited the USA last weekend and attended a Missions Conference in Fort Wayne Ind.
with Life Bridge Church. It was a great opportunity to hear and see what The Lord is doing
throughout the world in missions and to renew again the vision for the Lost.
This next week the students here at the GMTC will be hitting the streets doing the yearly
Drama Outreach. Yesterday they ministered their dramas for the first time in our church,
but today they are out to the streets of the Capital City. Please pray for them, that they will
be led by the Spirit and the anointing that is within each of them will come forth.
Today, Monday we are waiting to receive a team led by Pastor Jim Stewart from Living
Water Worship Center in Albany, Ohio. We will be leaving at 5 AM, Tuesday morning for a
9 hour drive to the small city of Senahu, which is located high in the mountains of
Guatemala. There will be holding a Bible Institute of 150 Pastors and Leaders as well as a
3 night "Healing To The Nations Crusade". We are expecting great miracles and signs and
wonders to take place. Please pray for our traveling safety and this week of ministry, that
there would be a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
We have been blessed to have Pastor Jerry Lerche from Flint Michigan here with us this
past week and he will be going with us as well on this week of Crusade Ministry. He will be
cooking the meals for the team as well as the 150 Bible Institute students. Please pray for
him as well as this will be the largest group that he and us together have ever cooked for.
We thank you for your love and support. Needs that we have shared with you have been
met.
****The funds for Sister Angela to have her dental work came in and she goes tomorrow to
get her dental work done. PTL!!!!
****The funds for Brother Sauls camera also have come in and he is using his camera as he
does outreaches every weekend into the streets of Guatemala City.
****Monthly support for Brother Saul has come in and we are able to use these funds as we
are buying him lights, speakers, sound board etc. for his full time street ministry to the
drug addicts, gang members and homeless of the city.
We deeply thank you as you have been standing with us and our ODMI Missionaries around
the world as we do our part to impact this world for Jesus Christ.

March 2008

Dear Friends:
Greetings from Guatemala this morning. I needed to share with you prayer needs etc.
First, in January we had a new President take office and he is in the vein of Mr. Chavez from
Venezuela. He has stopped all construction on our interstate system as well as our new airport. He
has said that he will give those funds to the poor. That is all fine and good, but without a sound and
updated infrastructure, countries like Guatemala will economically go down very quickly.
He has also just announced that he will try to put a bill through congress that will require the
following:
1. That all Pastors, that will not include the Catholics, as they do not use this term to identify their
clergy, will be required to have a high school diploma or they cannot be licensed by the State and will
then be an illegal pastor. This means that the 1,000's of rural pastors in the mountains and jungles
will be illegal, and he is threatening that they could be removed from their churches.
2. That any Pastor who preaches on the radio would have to have a College Degree. This will all but
wipe out 95% of all of the Christian Radio in this country.
3. He is a Mayan Priest himself and is going to establish in every department (state) a "cultural
center"
for the tribe of that area. We have 21 different tribes here in Guatemala. These will really be his
attempt to re-establish the Mayan religion as the State religion of the country.
As you can see we are in need of prayer as he has just begun and we still have him for the next 4
years. Pray that the Spirits of Darkness that are behind him will be crushed!!!!
Thank you for your prayers and support.
